This CD was the first release by Des Moines, Iowa's very own native
shock troops, Slipknot. Actually released on Halloween of 1996,
-ismist picked up distribution in June of 1997. Anything and
everything can be expected on this disc, from the roots of industrial
metal and Chicago influenced Midwestern noise, with hints of jazz,
disco and rap thrown in for good measure. This is not the
regurgitated tripe you hear day in and day out on the radio. Now,
sadly out of print, follow the bands exploits on Roadrunner Records.
