Up until this album I've liked everything with Corey on the first listen. But it's slowly, slowly growing on me. I'm listening to it again and again to hear what it is and not what I wanted it to be. It's not as bad as I first thought, though most of the songs only have parts that are cool. Dying is pretty damn good except for the chorus. The start is Nylon 6/6 is closing in on being awesome. The start is god damn cool. Edit: By the way; if anyone has an mp3 of Covetous Me from the 2000 Demo and would hit me up a pice I would be much grateful. Had it some years ago but lost it somewhere down the road in multiple harddrive crashes. Can't find it anywhere. Not even on youtube. I am pretty shure I got Covetous Me if you want me to upload it? |

I've never been much into it, but my friend does XMA and MMA I believe and he is fucking rediculous at it. Let me know how your first fight goes! Where do they hold local matches like that? |

I wasn't talking about wrestling. I used to watch wrestling when I was younger, but its too fake for me. I'm talking about a REAL sport. MMA in general is one of the best sports out there, right now. When I said I had wrestling experience, I mean I had a fairly good high-school wrestling background, and can (to this day) wrestle competitively with NCAA collegiate wrestlers. Not in sanctioned matches, of course, as I'm not in college. But, I train and spar with them. I'm only into legitimate competition. Anyone can bulk up, learn some wwf moves, and be a successful "wrestler". But to be an accomplished mixed martial artist requires real dedication, and commitment. Not to mention ACTUAL athleticism. Not intending to flame in any way, just stating that there is a MAAAAAAAAAAAJOR difference between the two. The fighting in MMA is REAL. |
